It All Starts Tomorrow… #Blogging101

I did it. I finally signed up for Blogging 101, one of the free courses offered by the WordPress team over at the Daily Post.

While I have wanted to sign up for another Writing University course for a while, I’ve felt extremely anxious about it. I’ve allowed my fears to dictate my life in terms of what I attempt. In truth I have allowed my fears to turn into regrets.

I have having regrets. They are heavy on the mind and weighty on the soul. Blogging 101 shall no longer be a chain that drags me down.

Besides, my blog could use a good update and I could use the kick in the pants.

In all honesty, I’m excited. This is the first month where I’m not acting as caregiver to my SO (he was finally given the go-ahead to start back at work and get live vaccinations!), and because of that I am able to put more into my writing. My celebration is to join and finish Blogging 101.

Who is with me? Anyone else getting a refresher or starting a new blog?

The AP Roberts is an extremely rare creature and there is only one known AP Roberts in the world. Usually off in its own little world, the AP returns to reality when it gets lonely. This elusive creature is rather difficult to catch on film, however will pose for drawings. The AP, though wild by nature, can be tamed and makes a wonderful pet. It should also be known that while the AP gets along with most creatures it has an intense fear of insects and large canines. The AP lives on a diet of mainly vegetables and candy but is not known to refuse food that is made and offered through kindness. The drink of choice for the AP is tea though it is known to drink water and juice. There is still much to be learned of the AP however, most agree that the writings of the AP are truly something to behold. Hopefully, one day the AP will find a good Agent creature who will introduce the AP's writings to a good publisher creature and the world will be able to read the AP's works.

  1. I’ve signed up for the third time. The first time blogging was all brand new and it took me a long time to get set up. Trying to complete all of the daily assignments is difficult when you have a job and other things going on. Second thing just wanted to try again. But I didn’t really get into it. So going for the third try. You will do great . It just takes time. But there are no deadlines either.

  2. Old blog, but I’m working on a new project where I’m trying to write a new short scene every week, under the assumption that no one can write 52 bad scenes in a row. So far it’s going well. 5 weeks in, and two stories have already been born from it.
